Default 115 vs. 63

That is the Pack's avg. rushing yards allowed per game vs. Pgh's.

I know any game isn't as simple as comparing rushing D's
yards allowed, but don't you think this will come into play in
this game?

Fact is, if Pgh gets GB into an obvious all-passing mode,
Pgh will get sacks and turn overs, most likely. And fact is,
if Pgh can run well enough to keep GB's D honest in having
to worry about both rushing and passing, I really like Pgh's
chances with all things considered, including the rushing D
for each and how it plays out.

Just saying. Almost every time, the media - and fans in general -
put too much emphasis on which team seems "sexier" and the
sexy factor is high on big passing plays and low on grind-it-out
rushing and D - but it usually ends up that the grind-it-out better
D wins more championships than the sexy passing teams do.
That is a fact. Not a trend to make a Pgh win a given but I do
like what history tells us re: these areas.

just heard on the NFL network that the team with more rushing attempts wins the super bowl 88% of the time.

Even more compelling. I like our chances in this one.

True, Dino, but in the post season, they magically found a rushing attack,
like in the Phily and Atl game. They are up to avg. 118 ypg in the post season.
Do I think they will be able to run on Pgh? Not a chance.
