Default 2006 Steelers Fan Blitz

I recall a few threads (was not able to find them) with questions pertaining to the 2006 Steelers Fan Blitz and at that time information was unavailable for this upcoming SFB. Well, now it's available.........

Tickets are on sale now.

Held on April 29th, Saturday

Hours of Operation – 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Admission is $10 for Adults, $5 for children 12 and under. Parking is available at Gold Lot 1 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm for $5. All fans will receive a 2005 Steelers Super Bowl Champs team photo and a 2006 Steelers Fan Blitz brochure outlining the day's activities upon entering Heinz Field. 2006 Steelers schedules will be available at the Comcast booth in the South Plaza. The Super Bowl XL Trophy will be on display!! Fans will also be permitted on the playing field to attempt field goals throughout the day.

Tickets are on sale now at the Steelers Sideline Stores at the Monroeville Mall, Pittsburgh Mills, Prime Outlets at Grove City and Heinz Field as well as Giant Eagle ticket master outlets. Tickets will also be available on the day of the event beginning at 11:00 am at the Game Day Ticket Office at Gate A. When fans leave – re-entry will be permitted using a stamp.

Current and former Steelers Player autographs will be held from 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm in the Coca-Cola Great Hall, the South Plaza area, the East Club Lounge and the playing field.

We will have prize giveaways every 60 minutes beginning at 1:00 pm from the Comcast Prize Tent in the South Plaza. We will also feature the Comcast QB Challenge contest off the field on the northeast sideline area. Comcast cable services for a year, a $100 Steelers Sideline Store gift certificate and four tickets to the Sept. 7 home opener will be among the prizes given away for this exciting contest.

The South Plaza will have the Steelers Sideline Store open and will feature Super Bowl XL Champion and AFC Champion merchandise. There will also be four portable merchandise stands available throughout Heinz Field. Steelers Experience elements will be highlighted - Coca-Cola Field Goal Kick, chase Bungee Run, Look like a Steeler, Touchdown Run and KidZONE inflatables in the South Plaza. The band "Killer Moose" will perform live in the South Plaza. MBNA, Tums and the Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association will have booths in the South Plaza with product information available for all fans. Game Faces will be face painting in the South Plaza to gear up for the new season.

The East Club Lounge will be open to the public and fe ature special activities for fans of all ages featuring Comcast interactive activities and inflatables including a "You Call the Play" kiosk. We will also have a special Draft Day GM Contest area in the East Club Lounge for our "Draft nicks" to participate. Separate prizes will be awarded for the most accurate Draft Day General Manager. There will be special give-aways while supplies last in the ECL.

The Coca-Cola Great Hall will feature the Steelers Sideline Store open for the best selection of Steelers merchandise anywhere, Tudor electric football games and most concession stands available. Game Faces will be face painting in the Coca-Cola Great Hall as well. Toro will feature equipment displayed off the field adjacent to the southeast corner sideline.

The Jumbotron will feature Steelers TV, Steelers 2005 season and Super Bowl XL highlights plus live coverage of the 2006 NFL Draft on ESPN.
