I like this draft, Jimmy Smith would be a good pick, I like the Hynoski pick as well (and Im not even a Pitt fan)
Also refreshing to see a draft where we DONT take Mike Pouncey...those are starting to get old |

What do you guys think the odds are that Pouncey will still be there at pick 31? I know he's not our first round selection in this mock draft, but it seems like he's the overwhelming favorite among most people when asked who the Steelers should take in the first round. If he's gone, I wouldn't mind using the first pick on a CB.
Also, I like the idea of drafting a kicker. I was going to suggest this in a separate thread. Suisham looked good when we first signed him, but he doesn't have a great track record, and he struggled a bit in the postseason. It would be nice to bring a young leg to the team, hopefully to stay here for many years to come. |

I think Hynoski just sounds like a Steeler!

Do you think Pouncey is worth trading up for? And if so, which current Steelers player could net us a higher first round pick? |

I think Pouncey is worth trading up for, but not worth giving up our other first rounder, we need first/early second round CB talent more but if we could get a pick in the 20's without giving up the 31st pick I'd be all for it. I'd sacrifice our 2nd and 3rd rounders if we could get Pouncey and a top 5 rated CB but IDK if that would be enough to trade up, there's nobody we can really afford to trade to get a pick like that either if we still want to make a run next year.

If we miss on Pouncey, what do you think about Stefen Wisniewski out of Penn State?
He's the top center prospect in the draft but could probably make a switch over to one of the other positions on the O-Line. His uncle, Steve, was quite a lineman when he played in the league. |
