That ESPN draft special is on every day, and it changes daily. It's been pretty good so far, although Kiper is doing the work-ups on the talent. It's ramping up to 2 hours a day next week, and it's usually on around the middle of the day if people want to tape/Tivo/DVR it.
As for Bloom, I was shocked to see how much interest in him they were attributing to the Steelers...I think they may have even said "The Steelers may draft him in Rd 3", and, yes, he hasn't played a down of football in 2 years. |

I have no problem with him getting drafted, but I'm thinking Rd 5 more than Rd 3.

Given the void in the return game left by the free-agent departure of WR Antwaan Randle El, who signed a blockbuster deal with Washington, it's no surprise that Pittsburgh had Jeremy Bloom in for a visit last week. Bloom, who forfeited his college football eligibility to remain as a world-champion skier, put some impressive returns and receptions on tape in limited play at Colorado. He's expected to be a late first-day pick next week. "Those are some big shoes to fill," Bloom said of the prospects of replacing Randle El. "I can't say I'll do it right away, but I'd do everything I can."
