Mendenhall needs to go on a little road trip 82 miles East of PIttsburgh. In the the little farm town of Shanksville, Mendenhell can go out to the field where the heroes of Flight 93 perished. They didn't fumble in the spotlight. They stood up and fought back. And they died heroes. Mendenhall's words have bruised a healing nation. So go and repent Mendenhall and you will redeem yourself in the heart of Americans.

while i don't agree with everything he said he has a right to his opinion, and he hasn't said anything worse than any other conspiracy theorist. media needs to chill the **** out, they're blowing it out of proportion.

rashard should realize though that as a professional athlete, he needs to be careful in what he says if he doesn't want a backlash. if i was a coach for a nfl team i would make all the team members delete their twitter accounts lol.

While I found the second half of Mendenhall's tweet stupid, he did by no means "bruise a healing nation". He owes no one an apology, yea he said something dumb, but if everyone was held to the fire just for saying stupid things well life would have to stop every 3 seconds for someone to be chastised wouldn't it?

The sentiments of this thread could have been posted in any of the threads about Mendy and/or Bin Laden.

Hayek...people are allowed to have their opinions as well w/o being attacked for them. I'm not allowing this thread to stay open for you to use as your personal bashing post.
