Ivory soap - ads with him washing his mouth out will be a big hit
Cole Haan shoes - picture him contorted with his foot in his mouth but sporting nice leather shoe

Mendy is too deep for the general public
He is a thinker
Most of America is not
Most people cant see anything but what's in front of their face.

Mendy needs to keep quiet play - make money and become a philanthropist - that way he can get his thoughts put into action instead of using twitter

Every time Mendy's name comes up, you mention how he's a deep thinker and so much smarter than the rest of us. Having opinions doesn't make you a deep thinker ... it just makes you opinionated. I've yet to hear an original thought from Mendy. Everything he says has been said a thousand times by others. He's not a deep thinker ... he's a parrot. If he was the deep thinker you claim he is, he'd be saying things most people haven't already thought of.

That's not to say I don't like him. He's our running back, and a damn good one. But let's not pretend that he's a genius.

I never said he was a genius
never inferred it
nope
that is false

I Agree
Deep thought doesnt equal being smart

and being smart doesnt mean your a deep thinker either

Mendy is far from an idiot though - he has intelligence - and it' clear he is very analytical

Too much for you huh

Unfortunately Mendy didn't analyze the general public well enough before he made his comments.

Maybe he still felt he was at the University of Illinois in his poly-sci class

who knows -

but I am sure he has realized one thing from all of this

Shutup and play ball boy -- who cares what you think -- just score TD's and make my fantasy team win!

Thanks for proving my point, troll. If Mendy was the deep thinker you claim he is, he would have thought about how is comments would be received. But he obviously didn't, or else he wouldn't have backpedaled so fast. There was no deep thinking in either his slave comment or his Truther comment. He was just parroting what others had already said. But think what you want.

Rashard didn't come across as much of a " thinker" in his twitter posts that degraded woman.

What, you think to prove yourself a deep thinker, you can only state
things that no one on earth has ever thought of? That is completely
retarded. I can't even think of a proper response to such a confused
model of thought.

At least RM doesn't just accept what mainstream media throws out
there. That proves he at least thinks about things, as opposed to being
a duped patsy who just buys what the govt. and media tells him, without
testing it in the context of logic and reason. I am embarrassed at how
many Americans simply do not engage in legit thought. It's pathetic.

Ok, but seriously...it's not like he (Mendenhall) went into any detail as to why he thought the way he did...on his Twitter account. Tweeting a sentence about how you think 9/11 was an inside job, or how you think NFL players are slaves hardly makes you a deep thinker. Typically, deep thinkers present their thoughts in more expansive mediums. Not f-ing Twitter.

I assure you, the feeling's mutual.

You seem to have this belief that everything the government or media says is a lie. And every conspiracy theory is true beyond a shadow of a doubt. And people who think otherwise are just duped sheep. Does that about sum it up?

We have people here on this board who think beyond what the government and mainstream media tells them. Even if I don't always agree with their arguments, I consider them to be deep thinkers who are doing more than just parroting things they've heard. They don't just post links to stories and videos or post a couple sentences. They lay out detailed arguments to support what they're thinking. As Mom pointed out, that's not what Mendy does. He just Tweets a few controversial ideas he's heard other people say. That doesn't make him analytical or a deep thinker. It makes him an opinionated parrot.

Aside from his slave and Truther comments, all you have to do is take a look at some of his other comments, particularly the ones about women as Zulater mentioned. Not exactly the words of a deep thinker.

The issue here isn't whether or not what he said is accurate. The issue is whether or not he's some great thinker. Hey Thumper, I don't think Oswald acted alone in killing Kennedy. There was a second shooter on the grassy knoll. Look, I'm a deep thinker, too.
