I've got to disagree with you on Ward. I think you're right about him slowing down, and he might not be the best wide receiver on the team, especially with Wallace playing amazing and the other young receivers getting better.

I can't see him having a bad exit from Pittsburgh. Hines Ward is Steeler football.

That would be sweet if Sweed could get it together though, him and Wallace would be unbeatable.
you'll always have an unfavorable opinion of New York if you only focus on the pimps and the C.H.U.D.s

A nickel/dime corner or even a linebacker has the ability to cover him. With any other QB on our team he'd be out of the league already. Ben allows him so much extra time to get open.
Gotta figure in that Ben was out of the picture for 4 games, in which they were a run first offense. Not so much the rest of the year but still that could account for a dip in his stats along with the emergence of Wallace as the clear cut #1 (and sanders and brown towards the end of the season)

I don't care how slow he is, he can still find the holes in the defense and fortunately hands don't degrade over the years and his are about as solid as they get. Plus, we do have roeth extending the play so ward's value to this team remains high. You get to have an extra coach on the field developing the young guys and his blocking and leadership is not easy to replace. If anyone loses his roster spot this year it's battle and/or el

for a year or 2, nate washington was one of the most productive #3 wr's in the league (besides brandon stokely or any other colts wr).

i see no reason why sanders OR brown cant be as well. they are already better than and ahead of nates curve.
