Ok, wasn't really trying to compare them based on stats, only from having a big-time drop.
Johnson was/is the premiere WR on the Bills, he has had many many more opportunities than LS has had. I didn't make the connection that somehow LS will be as productive as johnson, you made an assumption. They are both very talented receivers, one who has gotten opportunities and made the most of them and one who hasn't. I'm hoping he can put it all together this year and show why he was drafted so high.

Look at the WR for the bills that had that eerily similar drop against us in overtime. He's not going to fall of the face of the earth, he's a very talented receiver and will probably bounce back just fine. Maybe him and limas should become friends

FACT is, Johnson EARNED his way into playing time and getting
balls thrown his way. Sweed was given more than enough "chances"
to EARN his way to more playing time and all he did was NOT give
the coaches any confidence that he is worth having on the field and
throwing balls his way. You act as if Johnson got the opportunity
and Sweed did not. That is total horse shit. True, Sweed got hurt
last year and hence had zero opportunity. But he sure had the chances
before that, and he dropped the ball nearly every time he was given a
chance to make a play. Johnson had a horrid drop (thank God) and
lost the game for the Bills, but he put up over 1,000 yards and 10 TDs
last year. Sweed has never put up jack shit. Johnson is an upcoming
star in this league. Sweed will likely not even be in the league by kick
off this season.

If you think johnson didn't have a better opportunity of getting more balls thrown his way after T.O left than maybe you should try and remember that we had 2 SB MVP's ahead of sweed as well as our new #1 wallace competing with him. Sweed did get his opportunity when ward got hurt in the AFCG (see my OP) and he dropped the ball. He should look to johnson for comfort (my original point which you somehow managed to argue into something else) as johnson is also a very talented receiver who made a huge drop and will likely bounce back. (which you agree)

I've got to disagree somewhat here. Sure, I think everyone would say Johnson is the more accomplished player based on last years stats. But he was handed that opportunity by the fact that the Bills had no receivers in 2010. Look at Johnsons first 2 years. Basically nothing, same as Sweed. Sweed would have finally had his chance with Santonio gone in 2010 but got a season ending injury. Sweed had a Ward in his prime and Holmes in front of him. Then Wallace emerged into a great rookie with blazing speed. But as a #3 Wallace only had 30 something catches in 09. If Sweed could have gotten on the field he may have put up similar #'s. Something else to think about is the Bills are always racking up yards late in games coming from behind where Fitz and Johnson got a lot of stats.
Right now, I'd take Johnson, no question. But, I still think the jury's out on Sweed. He hasn't made the most of his opportunities, but his opportunities have been limited.

Lee Evans and Rosco Parrish are not hog wash for the Bills. Johnson
was a 7th-round pick no one heard of. He exploded on the scene last
year - totally unexpected by everyone save Johnson himself, maybe. Sweed
has sucked. His total production to date was a few short passes where
he fell to the ground. He was supposed to be Burress-level good. He got
more than a fair shot, being a 2nd-round pick they were not about to give
up on him quickly. And after a blown Achilles tendon? Good luck.
