And I say it won't matter. In fact, I'm looking into my crystal meth... I mean, my crystal ball right now, and I'm predicting the Patsies lose their first two games - at Miami and San Diego.

Friendly bet. I'll go 2-0. I dont think the fins will be able to score and I think the SD game will be a good one but the pats will pull it out. On that note.... this is one bet I would LOVE to lose. |

In what is perhaps a sign that the Muchostinko experiment is over before it even began:

So far what we have is kind of the opposite of what I expected: Haynesworth and Muchostinko are almost complete non-factors, and yet the Cheats are doing OK... kind of. They don't appear to have any defense, which will probably keep them out of the playoff, certainly out of the Super Bowl yet again.
But, really? Two tackles for Haynesworth? 5 catches for Stink? Wow. |

You didn't get very far into this thread before replying, I see. But anyway, let's revisit this at the halfway mark.

So now we can answer your question at the halfway mark. The Patriots league ranking is 13th, which I dare say puts them in the mediocre third, and you can glance at the teams ahead of them to see who is good: GB, SF, Ravens, Bengals, Detroit, NYG, HOU, NO, us, ATL, the Bills and the Bears. I know this doesn't jibe with your Brady-centric worldview, but there are group therapy sessions and even medications to help you out.
