This signing was a precautionary move because Sanders is hurt and Ward is getting old.

Urbik was a 3rd down pick because we traded out of the 2nd. He was a piss poor college prospect and it showed in training camp. I was livid when we drafted him and that fat **** Frank Summers.

Cotchery is a better signing than Arnaz Battle and Randle El. I just don't think he has room to play in Pittsburgh unless he's going to take over Hines' spot after he retires. Antonio Brown looks like a legit #2 receiver. Hopefully by the end of this year, the lineup will be:
1. Wallace
2. Brown
3. Sanders
4. Ward
5. Cotchery
6. Sweed

^^ On the latest practice notes, apparently Brown has continued to impress. I don't know if he'll be ahead of sanders in the depth chart, but the talk about him finally learning the offense and what I've seen of him so far, I wouldn't be all to surprised if it happened

actually i made a mistake, the contract wasn't for 1.8 mil, it was for the vet minimum (800k) which is even better for us. anyone still think this signing was a bad one? it looks like we got a steal imo.
