Default Calling OL experts

Did Gilbert show much promise at his stint at LT?

I am _really_ hoping he develops into a pro bowl level
OT. We need him to, desperately.

Considering he missed time early with injury I thought he played well. No doubt he will be a very good OT for years to come.

I don't know that he will be good for many years to come. Time will tell

The depot guys always do a good job. That's exactly what I saw out of Gilbert and mentioned it in another thread. A bit slow off the line on the first snap, allowed a couple of pressures and a penalty. But J. Scott was a lot worse in his first snaps as a Steeler last season.
