I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but a lot of that article is just early enthusiasm. Obviously Baron Batch is gone, so there's that. Curtis Brown is nowhere near starting from what we've seen so far. And Ben getting rid of it fast... I don't know. I saw him getting hit quite a bit so far this preseason.
I do think that veteran teams stand to prosper in a year like this, after the lockout. And I like how they responded after the Washington game. There is reason for optimism. |

yea - but don't you know - if we win the super bowl this year it will be because the steelers benefitted from the lockout - if it were a regular season the patriots would have won lol i can already hear the comments from ravens and patriots fans
