Well, it counts as only 1 loss and it was at Baltimore. They HAD to win. They couldnt lose at home against us to start off the season. I'm sure a lot of us thought the Ravens would most likely win, but its just that no one could see the blowout coming.

We will see what Tomlin and the team are made of next week. The Ravens have to come to Pitt. later this year.

Just heard an accurate quote from Suggs. He said Ben is a great quarterback and "God can have his soul, but his ass belongs to me." Nuff said.

Well, time to break out the hard stuff for a big pity party. Pitiful showing by the Steelers today....truly pitiful. There are no excuses for playing like that.

Our offense is stuffed with young talent. Tomlin needs to do what he has to do to get this team playing to it's full potential.
Huge talent? Like who?
We have one good o-lineman and that is Pouncey. He can't block everyone.
We have good receivers, but they can't catch passes if Ben is on his @ass or being hit all the time.

We have to plug the line. We didn't do that in the offseason. The Ravens front 4 on D exploited it as well as the D of Packers in the superbowl. If any teams watches tape of those 2 games they will shift some of their best D line around to take advantage of it too. Which spells a looong season of losing.

Once a weakness is exposed, good teams will take advantage of it. Bad teams won't and we will beat them. But good teams will. Teams like the Ravens, and the Patriots, and the Packers. Thats why we keep losing to the same teams all the time. They exploit our o-line and take shots on us down the field on defense.

Now that more teams are talented than last year, we can expect more and more teams to beat us.

People have relax. We stink, the Ratbirds played a good game. We will bounce back. We get Seattle next week to take our frustrations out on. Too early to PANIC.

Will somebody please check and make sure Hines Ward is ok?

He was demolished coming across the middle.

Perhaps he should put his dancing shoes back on and do what he does best.
