I'd have to agree. Fortunately Tomlin has vowed to unleash hell in September.

I agree with everything but this.
With our supposedly badass defense, it makes sense to put them on the field first to give us some momentum. The face that our D did not show up as planned is irrelevant here.

To me this will be a no brainer......" F " on any spot that needs a grade. I can't see one area where there was any effort put forth. Oh, I might take that back....the 'water boy/girl' was there when someone may have needed a drink....for what reason I don't know, no one was working up a sweat.

Ike was the only bright spot, unless you count Sepulveda, but he always looks great until he gets hurt. Evans had zero catches, which is typical for Ike. Personally, I don't care if he ever gets an interception, there are less than five CBs in the league that take away a WR as well as Taylor.

I think defensively we needed a better game plan. lebeau should have put ike on boldin because i think evans is way overrated. he hasn't had more than 4 td's in a season, yeah if he's fast, if he can't catch / is a bad route runner he's just another nate washington who is hit or miss. boldin is money every time and if you put your worst cover man on him (mcfadden), that's just asking to get torched.

with that said ike was lights out. I wish he would have been guarding boldin instead, he's the ravens best WR imo.

You might be on to something there. Although, the thing with Boldin is, he's a lot like Hines in the sense that he has no natural position. He's liable to line up just about anywhere and run just about any route. It makes it difficult to assign one guy to him and if they did, it might end up wasting Ike's skills on too many plays (i.e. You don't need Ike on the guy running a 5yd in route).

If Mcfadden was on Lee Evans, then we would've given up more TD's. Ike was the only one who could run stride for stride with Evans, and it was a good plan. There were just too many busted coverages by the LB's that resulted in multiple 20 yard gains by the Raven's TE's
