Yup. Well that's all she wrote. They have Brady on one side of the ball, and Seymour on the other. The rest will have to fight for the left overs because they aren't going to pay anyone else that kind of money.

If it all works out then you have to love what the F.O. has achieved.

The motto seems simple : Only pay the irreplaceable the big bucks.

The loss of Givens I think may hurt us this season (unless we pull an FA signing out of thin air, or go WR 1-3 in the draft) - but locking Big Sey up for 5/6 years is huge - he makes the rest of the D-Line and the LB corps better with his presense.

I also agree that Branch will be gone if he tried to elevate his price beyond what the Pats think its reasonable for a WR that operates in their spread-it-around system.

Suddenly, the Patriots are not simply great; they're compelling, fascinating, appearing to be almighty and a touch lawless.
The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed.

I think it will, and I agree, they played it just right.

The knock on Reid is that he is small at 5-feet-10 and 188 pounds, but with that speed, he's worth a look. He also caught 50 passes for 634 yards last year."

this could be a decent replacement for randel el in the return game. a late round pick who could also yield a project #2 or #3 wr.
ill take credit for pointing him out but i had no idea hed be a 3rd round pick.
