For the record, Robinson was drafted by the 49ers today.

I'm going out on a limb and giving Bill and crew an A- for Day 1!
We do not even have the room on our roster for all 10 picks, so use some of them to guarantee we get what we want, which was Santonio "the best Receiver in this draft" Holmes. We have a history of doing that...trading up to make sure we get what we want (ie;..Troy P.). We added depth to the Safety corps, and we added a touch of insurance at K/P returner. IF Santonio turns out to be the great WR that people are hoping, then we do not need to burn him out or chancing injury as a returner. Once again, we stuck with the game plan that has served us so well..............A-

I would give it a B- for the first day. They wanted Homes like they wanted (like Troy) and he sounds like a perfect fit for the Steelers. I think we would have had a drop off in our return game and shored that up nicely (plus I always hate to see our starting receivers as return guys!). Hopefully our safety pick will come around nicely in 2 years, and with a 41inch vertical we dont have to worry about jump balls to tall WR's in the end zone. The more I read about White and lack of work ethic, overweight, possible drug problems the less I liked him. Besides, he came to our facility and our guys got a good look at him, if he wasn't high on our draft board after that there is a good reason for it.
