Ward Says He Will Play Against Cincinnati
Hines Ward Says He Will Play Against Cincinnati
November 8, 2011 10:05 AM
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Hines Ward started the foundation PositiveAthlete.org to help get area youth into playing sports and using it as an outlet to give kids a positive upbringing, and helping them turn into great young-men. He joined the Fan Morning Show to talk about it, and everything Steelers.
Looking back at the Baltimore game where Hines left and did not return because of concussion-like symptoms, Hines said he, “got a little dinged up, but, [he] will be ready for Cincinnati.” Hines wanted to finish the game, saying, “I thought I could play, but, for whatever reason, they didn’t want to risk anything.”
As for the young receivers around him, Hines says that he is having fun playing and when it is time for him to move on from the Steelers, he will leave it in good hands. Hines takes great pride in the fact that Mike Wallace, Antonio Brown, and Emmanuel Sanders are all turning into great blocking wide-receivers, which is something that he has preached to them.
Looking forward to the Bengals, Hines sees a team that is much-improved, and it will be a fight for the Steelers to come out of Cincy with a win.

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause and effect, but actually from a non-linear non-subjective viewpoint it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey...stuff.

Re: Ward Says He Will Play Against Cincinnati
Great. He's that inspirational leader they need on the field, not the sideline. Even if he only plays 10-15 snaps a game. Plus I haven't seen a blocking WR like him since Sterling Sharpe.
Also, he's the only reason I watched a certain TV show a few months back. [Insert humorous smiley here.]
