Pouncey and Ben expect to play Monday

Pouncey said he would be ready for the Super Bowl and he wasn't and Ben is Ben if he can walk he will be ready

Bottom line, I think both are doubtful as we speak

Pouncey said that this ankle injury is not as bad as the one that kept him out of the Super Bowl, and that that previous injury helps him heal quicker this time. I think both have a decent chance of playing. If the stakes were lower, I would think they rest, but the team knows what's on the line.

The ratbirds are notorious for laying eggs, and we have a good chance of winning our last 3. If the rats lose one and we win out we will be the #1 seed, therefore Ben needs to play and he will. I'd like to see Pouncey in because the niners have a good defense, if he can play and take the next game off that would be great. Another injury that I haven't heard much info on yet is Woodley, will he be playing at all after 15 days of rest since his last game? That is a huge concern if the nazi suspends Harrison.

I'm kind of HATING what people are saying about this rest crap. This is the NFL, heading DEEP into the regular season with playoff seeding on the line. This is what separates the Pittsburgh Steelers from the pack. We are a tough nosed football team with tough nosed players. Yes, we are hurt but the division is still ON THE LINE. We must play and I expect Ben & Pouncey to go full throttle for what it's worth.

The Texans actually need to lose too for the Steelers to get the top seed. I wouldn't really be that concerned about playing them with Yates in Houston in the AFC championship game though if it game to that though. Certainly better than playing in Foxborough or Baltimore.

Oh yeah I forgot Houston has to lose one or we would be #2. As you said, I'm not worried about playing them though, weather in Pittsburgh or Houston. I just don't want 3 straight road games against playoff quality teams.

for the love of god yes, I'd rather see us playing at Houston than Baltimore OR New England.

I have a feeling Rivers is going to get creamed next week and even though they've won two in a row, Rivers is obviously over thinking things out there which I think against Bmore D will cost them.

I do think the Pats are going to lose at Denver next week - just don't think we are going to get ALL the help we need.

If we do, throw all the tomatoes you want - I'll bathe in them because that means we have home field advantage baby
