If the Steelers defense shows up in the playoffs this team will be tough to beat. They have to focus on getting healthy and they need to value the ball more on offense. The turnover in the redzone against the 49ers early in the game on their first drive set the tone of the game. The didn't value the ball in the Cleveland game either and it almost cost them. Keep hold of the ball, don't hand it over to the other team.

I didn't think the D showed up last night. They didn't come up with any turnovers and the offense gave up the ball multiple times again just like the previous game against Cleveland. The game of football is pretty simple and the team that owns the turnover margin is usually going to win the game if they cash in on those turnovers.
That's been the theme with this defense all year and for the most part it's been the theme with the offense. They don't have playmakers on the defensive side of the ball and they don't value the ball on offense. If they can get healthy I think they can make a push in the playoffs. They don't have to be at home for the playoffs, they just need to get healthier. Ben, Pouncey, Woodley to start off with. |

D did all they could. The turnovers and bad field position hurt us.
