Bring back Charlie Batch!

If Big Ben goes down we need a rock-solid backup option. I think you know where we need to turn.

They were simply trying to win and based on Ben's track record of being able to play through and win while playing hurt I thought it was a good decision to start him. I will say though that after interception #2 they should of probably given Batch and/or Dixon a chance.

Didn't we win 3 games out of 4 without Ben last year?

I do not dislike Batch but the guy has been Ben's backup for a longtime and always looks a little lost when he gets thrust into the game. Maybe he would have faired better versus the Niners since he took many snaps last week but he does not give me confidence when he is under center.

Dixon may not be polished or have a full grasp of the offense but at least he can outrun trouble if needs to.

This is what I think we shoul do- but I wouldn't mind seeing more of Dixon either.
