Face it the era of Pittsburgh beating Baltimore which started with the 1971 world series ended in 2011. When the Ravens stomped the Steelers in Baltimore, then when Flacco hit Torrey with 8 seconds to go inBaltimore.

Those were signature wins. Those were defining wins. You had a 40 year run. It was fun for you guys while it lasted but it is all over now.

Given the way the Steelers play on the road it will probably be one and done inthe playoffs.

I'm guessing tenn1968 likes to classify everything into era's. One morning it's the era of Captain Crunch, then next week he's on to the era of toast and eggs. "Sorry Captain, your era's over!" His mother has heard him exclaim many times.

Look I know this is hard for you guys to accept. Pittsburgh has come out ahead for a long time. It is difficult when a team you have beaten in the past turns the tables.

But it is what it is. The Steelers are 0-2 vs Ravens. The two losses to the Ravens have pretty much assured the Steelers will not be going to theSuper bowl again.

If the Steelers had split they could have rested Rothlesburger last monday and would have a first round bye and home playoff games. With a gimpy QB going on the road the Steelers will likely lose badly to either the Pats or Ravens if they even get that far.

So the two losses to the Ravens will have essentially ended the Steelers season. After 40 yearfs of frustration Baltimore HANDLED d Pittsburgh.

Wow...you just hopped on the Ravens bandwaggon this year didn't you? Or did you say the same thing in your head in '06 when the Ravens swept the Steelers? How'd that work out for "the new era Ravens"? Dumbass.

Who cares about 2006. The Steelers would noot have made the playoffs enen had they beaten the Ravens and we lost to the Colts in the playoffs.

This year is different. The two wins over the Steelers have decided both team's seasons. The Steelers face going on the road as a Wild Card because they couldnt handle the powerful and proud Ravens.

And I just read if the Ravens win their last 2 we stay home in the playoffs even against the Pats! Indianapolis here we come!
