I'm taking a wild guess that it doesn't take over a year to learn a playbook. Brown wasn't a rookie...if he didn't know it then the "mentor/leader extraordinaire" Hines Ward wasn't doing his job. Am I right?

Have you ever heard the saying you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink?

![]() I've been pretty consistent about Antonio Brown and Hines Ward. I haven't backtracked once. That's why you're always whining and complaining. Resort to namecalling because you don't know what to do when I prove you wrong. Which is often. You on the other hand...a fool and don't know football 101 ![]() Owned again hipchest. |

Prior to the season I forcasted that either Emmanuel Sanders or Antonio Brown would pass Hines Ward on the Depth Chart (I was partial to Brown). However, no way did I ever imagine both would surpass him. And who could have guessed Jerricho Cotchery would become a bigger part of the Pittsburgh Steelers gameplan than #86? I didn't expect the drop off to happen so abruptly. Ward has been a great Steeler for as long as I've been following the team. He is deserving of enshrinement in the Hall someday and no doubt will always be remembered in this city. But unfortunately, I think it is time to move on. Unless the player wants to return for the veteran minmum as the #5 option on the depth chart, I feel it would be a poor decision to keep him around.
