That was the scenario today. You can call it a no win scenario. What you perceive as love for the Patriots - actually joy that we didn't have to go down on Rosanne.
Atleast the Pats fans were in the SAME position last season, having to watch either their hated Jets rival go to the Super Bowl or us, which they also hate almost the same, if not, THEE same.

Hopefully, we get our fix and see Eli do it again because this season couldn't have gone worse.

I was rooting for the Ravens. Coach Noll is the only coach with 4 SB wins, if Belicheat wins this year, he will tie Noll. There is no way the Pats can win in 2 weeks. GO GIANTS!!!

You have 2000 posts and it would be challenging to find one where you didn't either dis Ben, discredit the team in some way, or give credit to an opposing team for a victory they didn't earn. We have some homer's here but I think your the only one that is a homer for whoever is playing the Steelers. They cheated and that's why they won in 04, it's real easy to outplay somebody when you know what they are running.

I have no love for the Pats, they disgust me and make me want to puke, they are cheaters and at best should have one modern day SB. That said the Ratbirds IMO are worse, they are like a common street gang that all made it on to a football team, and their fans are 10x worse then Pats fans. Seeing them beat us twice and ultimately get nothing for it, that made me happy. As mentioned it was a lose lose game and either way I wouldn't have liked it, but to see the look on the face of Ed Reed and Ray Rice when they missed that short field goal, priceless. I would give the edge to the Pats in the SB but I think if the Giants front four get pressure on Brady like the last SB, they will win. Let's go Giants!

Yes they did, and they were a chip shot away from possibly doing it again. If we were healthy at the end we could have done it too. The Pats had to win one real game to go to the SB and it was on their home turf.

I hate them both with a passion. I just watched the game to see who would win and couldn't have cared less who won. But I got a good laugh at those looks of disbelief on the Ratbirds' faces. It was classic. We basically gave the Patriots the Super Bowl by losing to the Ratbirds the second time. We would have had home field advantage throughout the playoffs except for that game. I got great enjoyment out of the Steelers outplaying Brady and company earlier this year. We just got derailed by injuries to star players.
