Dixon has thrown a grand total of 59 passes in his first three seasons (some QB's today throw that many passes in one game!) and he didn't play at all this last season.

So how in the world could you possibly know whether he sucks or not?

dixon hasn't proven he's worthy of the #2 spot. trade him.

I've watched him start 2 games and was on the verge of booing him off the field against the Titans when he took that sack fumble that was returned for a touchdown.

He can't throw, he can't read defenses, he's too small, and his running ability isn't even that great. For god's sake he can't throw.

He's an awful over the middle passer, and really an awful passer all around. I think Troy will take his spot, and maybe Lefty's spot if he can't stay healthy. Troy's got the legs, the arm and the accuracy, but he's most certainly lacking the height (6'0)

I agree, Troy Smith will take his spot. He's not that great of a passer either imo but light years ahead of Dixon. I think Leftwich will still be the #2 assuming his arm is 100 percent.

#1 Ben Roethlisberger
#2 Byron Leftwhich
#3 Troy Smith
#4 Jerrod Johnson

Then again, Batch may be back?

either batch or leftwich is gonna be gone. lefty has been injured in the last 2 years and batch is getting a little long in the tooth.

troy smith was a good addition and should be serviceable as a #2 or #3 qb. I'm surprised he hasn't been picked up earlier by someone as a backup after his year in san fran. he's definitely better than dixon

#2 - Leftwich (which means he will be quickly injured, preseason maybe, and rendered useles).
#3 - Troy Smith (will be elevated to a functional #2)
#4 - with the injury to Chipwich, Charley will be signed as #3

I have never seen a qb throw it into the dirt as much as Dixon, HORRIBLE passer. Ben is our starter and a tough one, if Batch goes then Leftwhich is #2 and Smith is #3. Thats about the furthest from qb problems as you can get.
