Envision the Steelers 2012 Depth Chart

RT: Jonathan Scott (Foster possibly starts, Scott moves to backup)

RG: Ramon Foster-Willie Colon (Foster possibly moves to RT to start over Scott, Colon starts at RG)

That's my first offensive take on it, and it's rough. What's your offensive and defensive takes on our 2012 depth?

I didn't list the backups for most of them, or even a defense for that matter. I just want to see how YOU envision out offense and defense looking next year.

As for Colon, I completely forgot about him. He'd be competition at right guard, Ramon Fosters position, no? If so, wonder if we could move Foster to RT and eliminate the hated Scott.

Mendenhall will have healed from surgery sometime in September. There's of course physical therapy and conditioning to follow after that, and that's why I didn't list him on next year's depth chart. I tore my ACL before, and I just don't see him playing next year. I could be wrong of course, there's lot's of methods out there that can be used to get him ready quicker.

I see the same as you except maybe move Baron Batch ahead of Mendy... Mendy isnt expected to return till middle of season so we've heard?

He'll be fully recovered from surgery by then, and ready to begin his physical therapy and strengthening drills. He probably won't be back next season, and if he is, it'll be late in the season. Your looking at him possibly being fully ready to play in early October of things go well with recovery, but i'm not sure he will. We'll see.

All I can say is I hope your dead wrong with your o line, if we go into the season with Gilbert on Left side and Scott on the R wouldnt that be the same as last year only different sides... and last time I check that was the worst Line in Football until we were saved by starks... lets pray the steelers dont have to start Scott this year
