I don't want Holmes back, he had his chance, and this guy from the Pittsburgh Power is just a camp body.

I'm the biggest AFL and Pittsburgh Power fan around. James Shaw saw very limited action this year. He played in 8 games and caught 21 passes for 192 yards and 3 TDs. He also had 15 kick returns for 296 yards.

He's only 5'11" and 195 lbs so I think the most likely role for him would be as a special teamer and return man. His most redeeming quality is that he is really, really fast.

Sort of like Stefan Logan (who played in the CFL, got a shot in camp, and became a kick returner).

Perhaps. While I would give Shaw close to a 0% chance of making the roster given the already deep WR corps, I think he could make a nice practice squad addition.

I'm surprised they didn't look at Prechae Rodriguez if they were watching the Power. As a Philadelphia Soul fan, I watched him kill us several times. Plus, he's big. And yes I'm a Steelers fan who likes the Soul (I live near Philly).
