Since the 2003 Superbowl the AFC has been represented by teams with one of three QBs, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Ben Roethlisberger . With The Steelers now out of playoff contention, will it continue with Brady or Peyton in the AFC. Nine years in a row with only three QBs, Brady with 4 trips during that time span, Ben with 3, and Peyton with 2. Brady had a previous trip in 2001.

It will. In fact, I think they'll be playing in the Championship game, so it will be a guarantee after the divisional round. The Texans are fading, the Ravens are really fading, the Colts are the beneficiary of a last place schedule and are still a couple years away, and the Bengals just aren't that good. Hard to believe. 03-Brady 04-Brady 05-Ben 06-Payton 07-Brady 08-Ben 09-Payton 10-Ben 11-Brady 12-? Payton I think That would give Brady 4, Ben and Payton 3 each and Flacco and the rest of the pretenders with a big fat 0 combined. Shows you the power of having an elite QB. More of the same in the NFC in the last 5 years. 07- Eli 08- Warner 09-Brees 10-Rodgers 11-Eli 03-06 were 4 avg. QB's in the NFC with McNabb being the most accomplished, but none of the 4 were able to win. |

Oh yeah. I forgot he said he was elite. Let's see how the Ravens take care of him this off season. That should tell us if they think he's elite. He'll get his 1 playoff win against a weak Colts team and then go to Denver or NE and get trounced.

I see the Bronocs going to the superbowl. They have home-field and a top 5 defense. The Pats defense sucks. Obviously with Brady they have a shot.
I think the Packers make it back too.

i hope you're right about that. I'd much rather see Denver there. If you would have asked me a month ago, i would have said the 49ers from the NFC. I'm not so sure right now as they seem to have imploded a bit in the last month - Harbaugh likely should have stayed with Smith and kept things going, but its still possible they get there instead of GB. |

It's about as close to 100% as you can get that the streak continues. In fact the winner of the Pats/Broncos AFC title game should win the Super Bowl, their the 2 best teams in the league.
