Default TITANS WR'S

I have a bad feeling if we are unable to pressure LOCKER the TITAN wr's will dominate our secondary. they have KENNY BRITT JUSTIN HUNTER AND KENDALL WRIGHT. all of these wrs are beyond fast and pose a concern if we cant get to locker. i know maybe im over reacting considering we have WILLIAM GAY and also the ever so great CURTIS BROWN... im sure we will not miss a beat in our nickel/dime coverage....

Our main objective would probably be to stop the run; stop the scramble and play press on the outsides and force these guys to straight up beat us since we're probably going to be aggressive up the middle in not allowing Johnson to bust an 85 yarder. This will play into Ike and Cortez's strength since they are aggressive corners with prob Clark over the top with Troy roving.

no worries...

now that LaMarr Woodley is much lighter and actually weighs closer to being an OLB than a DL he will arrive at least 5 seconds earlier to the QB than he did the last couple of seasons.

Kenny Britt is coming off of another serious knee injury and nobody knows if he'll ever be the same receiver he was a few years ago.

Justin Hunter is fourth on their depth chart.

Nate Washington is pretty solid, but he's nothing Cortez Allen can't handle.

I'm not all too worried about the Titans receiving corps. Kenny Britt is probably their best receiving threat but he is coming off an injury that could very well cause him to have lost a step. There's also the chance that he could get himself arrested for the 8,567,291,285,291st time before the game and I'll bet you Ike Taylor has been licking his chops to get another chance to cover this clown. Kenny Britt doesn't even deserve to be in the NFL with all of his character problems anyways. Nate Washington is the best receiver they have currently in my opinion. He's a legitimate deep threat, but I think Cortez Allen can hang with him.

Then you have Kendall Wright who has yet to breakout, Damian Williams (whose that?), and Justin Hunter a rookie who hasn't played a meaningful snap in a regular season game yet.

I think our secondary matches up against these guys much better than it has in the past and I think our defensive line and linebackers are going to be better than they were last season so I'd look for an interception or two in this game.

As long as the Steelers can get to Locker, I'm not worry. QB pressure is always the key. Can't ask the DBs to create TO or handle other team's WRs when the QB has 30 seconds to find targets.

I have a feeling that Locker is going to be seeing quite a bit of Jarvis Jones, Lawrence Timmons, Larry Foote, and LaMarr Woodley. He might even get visits from Steve McClendon, Brett Kiesel, and Ziggy Hood here and there. I think our front seven is improved from last year. If they can generate more pressure than last year we'll see our fair share of turnovers.

I'm excited to watch Polamalu. He finally looks healthy and he looked much faster this preseason than he has the past few years. Our defense has the potential to be much better than last year. I just hope they live up to it.

I think William Gay will be alright. He'll be playing Nickel corner which is his more natural position anyways.
