Default Do we have a #1 WR?

I think we have a bunch of 2-4's and no #1.

A guy who will be on the market next year that Pittsburgh would never look at, but could really help us, is Kenny Britt. I know he is an idiot, but he is very talented and a big WR.

It just looks like all of our draft picks might have to go for OL...

There is nothing wrong with our WRs. They are not getting enough attempts because we don't get enough snaps because the offensive line is just so horrible. If Ben don't have time to throw the ball, that limits the WRs on what they can do. We got plenty of weapons on offense. But when you have such a poor line who get dominated on every snap, then the entire offensive looks bad....

We dont have a true #1 WR plain and simple. Brown is a good receiver but since he lacks size he's really a #2, Sanders is a #3 and noting else and Cotchery is slow....

But this offense will get some help when Heath comes back and maybe Wheaton will help since he'll get more PT

While I agree with you to some degree, I don't agree that there is nothing wrong with our WRs. We have good solid WRs, but no true #1. We have short, speedy, and shifty receivers that have decent hands, but aren't physical. They get shutdown against physical corners. A true #1 WR demands corner with safety over the top help and will still produce even though being double teamed. We don't have a single WR that can do that.

Kenny Britt doesn't deserve to wear a Steelers uniform. He's a petty criminal that just so happens to be a gifted athlete. He's also made of porcelain and gets injured far too often. I honestly can't stand him, you're making millions in the NFL so you go out and get yourself into trouble with the law multiple times.

His work ethic and lethargic approach have hm riding the pine when he obviously one of their top receivers before. The Steelers won't look at him and they shouldn't.

As for the original question. I agree. Antonio Brown is a gifted #2 receiver and Emmanuel Sanders is a gifted #3 Receiver. We need a receiver to step up and dominate at the #1 WR position. I would like to think that Markus Wheaton could be that guy, maybe not now, but in the future.

Sanders a gifted number 3? Seems pretty average to me.

We don't have a true #1. I like the guys we have, but there is no dominant receiver on the roster.

If we do its Wheaton or Moye, and they have not had the game experience to prove it yet. Hey I can hope.

Kenny Britt had 3 knee surgeries in less than 1 year, and has not been considered a "top talent" since before 2011.

No thanks.

I'd rather us give Moye and Wheaton more playing time to see if we can first promote from within.

At 6' 5", a 4.5 40, good shifty-ness and (apparently) good hands Moye MAY be the answer.

He has good work ethic too.
