Default Notre Dame D-Line

They have a few gems on that line making the next step this year. Louis Nix is already known as one of the best true nose tackle prospects in a while while Stephon Tuitt seemslike he is a real force to be reckoned with himself. Both are projected to go early and Nix is even considered a top ten pick. The way we've been performing I feel that is the ballpark we're headed for. These are two players I feel are worth a look and could be the next Hampton Smith combo. My question to you guys is if both were available, Nix in round 1 and Tuitt in round 2, would you guys feel they aee worthy to pass up the chance at a left tackle prospect, and would you be happy to welcome them to Steelers?

Already wasted too many pics on the Oline and Dline ... Let the guys play and learn and get better

Heyward will be great I believe, and arnfelt and nick Williams and al woods can hold down the other DE position

Can't keep investing in those spots and keep lacking difference makers every where else

I wouldn't mind getting a big time NT. McLendon seems to have started out really strong this year, but i haven't been noticing him as much. They use to say that everything they ran on defense started with Hampton, and if we need a top NT to make it work again, then it might be worth it.

I agree about Heyward though, he could still turn into something pretty good. If we don't resign Hood, having McClendon on one side and Heyward on the other wouldn't be too bad. In my opinion, Al Woods plays pretty good against the run and it might be worth a shot seeing what he can do against the best throughout the year.

If we take a NT in the top 10 I'm going to flip my shit.

personally, if we get a top pick, I'd like to see us trade it away for more picks

Nix is good... extremely good.

But, if in the top ten, I say that it has to be a LT.

Wouldn't mind a nix pick if we trade back .

Move McClendon to end

Heyward Nix McClendon would be a very solid d line for years

Still need a good size wr (Jordan Matthews) a tackle and more corners

Here goes a quick scenario @ Dalarin but it's still too early , but right now the Steelers are at 4 and the Eagles are at 11 ... lets say Marcus Mariota comes out and Chip Kelly wants his boy, it Would cost the Eagles 11 and 43 to move up to 4 and get Mariota

Using WalterFootball for who is left

11 - Cyrus Kouandjio , LT , Bama
36 - Eric Ebron , TE , North Carolina
43 - Stephon Tuitt , DE , Notre Dame

Rest is up in the air , with the Comp pick , I'd say WR and CB are the next biggest needs

I think a OT is a must for us this year. Not too many times do we get a top pick so lets take a chance on a elite OT prospect. (Matthews, Kouandijo, Lewan). We need some new guys in there.

I think Tuitt is considered a top 15 pick
