Exactly. Every team goes through its losing. Not possible for a team to win every single year. The Patriots weren't great until Belichick and Brady. Before that, they were coached by Pete Carroll... and had the #1 pick in the 1994 Draft...

i was a fan since the brister era, i know a thing or 2 about losing. we had a great run at playoff appearances, all good things come to an end unfortunately.

In 2003, the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins all finished with losing records and missed the playoffs.

and a lot of Steelers fans have also suffered along with the Pirates losing for seemingly forever to know how to deal with losing.
