Default Following bird flip, Raiders to punish apologetic DC Jason Tarver

Quote:
It appears as though Raiders defensive coordinator Jason Tarver will have more in common with former Titans owner Bud Adams, Jets coach Rex Ryan and former Titans defensive coordinator Chuck Cecil than Tarver once might have thought.
All flipped the bird in dismay in view of cameras, and all were subsequently fined by the league. Now, after Tarver's display on Sunday, the Raiders said they will punish him. According to ESPN, the league concurs with that and won't punish him on its own.
The guess here is that Tarver will have to pay a decent amount of money in the form of a fine.

I didn't notice the bird, but I was well aware of him screaming "FUCK YOU!" several times at the refs. Forget which call it was.

They were pretty bad the other day.

First time I ever saw them throw a flag, make the call, then pick up the flag, not mark off the penalty yards and resume game play without an explanation.

We were also led to believe that one of these geniuses saw #41 touch a FB that HDTV, blown up in super slow motion couldn't determine (it didn't look like he did). Yet they can't tell their heads from their ass.

Anyway....

Pretty childish by that coach. I didn't agree with the call either but you can't act like a moron like that.
