Troy in another uniform ...Ugh..Hate the thought...and the way he is playing right now, he looks 10 years younger than the past few years and is really our only bright spot on the field.

Nothing less than 2 first rounders if you must go that route :(

Trade Tomlin?!? Well.... I guess it may not sate the blood lust of a good old fashioned firing for some SF members, but I'm sure they'll settle for it.

I think the help we need is a change on the sidelines starting with Haley. Montana could be throwing to Rice behind an All Pro line, but if Rice was only 2 yards past the line of scrimmage then he's likely to only get 2 or 3 yards. The team is also undisciplined, unprepared, and management of the game sucks. Getting some fresh talent would help a bit, but it wouldn't fix the major issues.

As far as selling, Troy and Ben would be the obvious choices and likely the only players we could get a decent draft pick for. I don't like thinking of either of them in a different uniform (I think Troy might just retire in that situation), but it's time to rebuild and I don't see Ben or Troy being around (or performing well) by the time the team is good again. There's no point in hanging on to someone who won't be around for the next run when you could get a draft pick for them and get the "next guy" to help start the run. On that note, we might look at trading Colbert, or at least our scouts.

Tomlin has said a lot of BS in the past 2 seasons, obviously.

That offer has come and gone. No team would give up a 3rd for him now.

I disagree.

The Colts are trade happy. They have made 25 trades in the past two years (since Luck was drafted)... the rest of the league has made around 27 trades in all.

Secondary, Reggie Wayne just went down.

Lastly, the Colts know that winning SuperBowls does not come easy... especially once you have to start paying a franchise QB. Ergo, accruing as much talent right now (while Luck is cheap) makes a ton of sense.

SUMMATION:
Will it happen? Eh.
Is it logical? Yes... because, the Colts love to make trades.
