Yep.
I was saying elsewhere (or earlier) about Barr being a legitimate option at 15.

Everyone knows that I want Nix, but Barr at 15 would be hard to pass on. I personally would go Nix & then OLB (Murphy), but I would not cry over Barr... I wouldn't cry at all.

Okay, compromise.

1. Dennard
2. Murphy
3. (Compensatory) Telvin Smith
4. Ryan Carrethers
Ha, ha... I was just posting about Barr. (We must share some mental brainwaves or something.)

If they do not go NT early, then they might as well stick with McClendon, and improve the DE position... because, while some of these guy look good, aside from Nix, none of them look markedly better than McClendon.

A compromise to your compromise:
1. Dennard
2. Murphy
3. Bucannon
4. whomever you'd like

Mack?... Khalil Mack???

Isn't he the guy who threw a bunch of kittens into a burlap sack, and snuck it into Lake Erie? @Bayz101 knows him.

My first three would looks something like this:

1. CB Darqueze Dennard Michigan State (BPA at position of need)
2. S/CB Lamarcus Joyner Florida State "or" S Deone Bucannon
3rd rd compensatory (pick #97) OLB Marcus Smith Louisville

I'd double up on secondary in this draft like Tomlin did his first draft at LB with Timmons and Woodley.

Both are fierce, competitive, playmakers AND capable of starting early. Dennard can lock down the premier WR's in the division (Josh Gordon, Aj Green, Josh Gordon) while Joyner can work into sub packages and be a playmaker when Troy leaves. They're premium talents.

PS I agree OLB is a huge NEED. Check out Marcus Smith. He is a monster coming off the edge. Him and Cam Heyward stacked on one side would yield 13-20+ sacks a season once Marcus is coached up.

Monday February 24, 2014 By Nick Klopsis

FALLER: Trent Murphy, DE/LB, Stanford

Murphy worked out with the linebackers on Monday and was unimpressive all around. He clocked a 4.86 40 (to go with his 19 bench press reps on Sunday) and had a few mistakes in positional drills. He's a second-rounder at this stage.
