Default Detroit Lions up next

So now we need to look to next week . . . The Lions.

We already know our defensive pressure is next to non-existant. So, my thinking is if we can limit Bush to minimal impact, we can stay in it to the end and maybe get an upset. We know megatron will get his catches and scores (I doubt Ike will shut him down). So if we can't pressure their QB into making mistakes and we most likely can not take stop their passing game, we NEED to stop their running game. They have a very balanced attack which is how they are winning their games. Make them one dimensional and dont give up the big play and we at least have a chance. Of course we need to do the obvious, limit turnovers, get the running game going, protect Ben and improve our redzone offense lol.

Lets go Steelers!

sorry, I'm not ready to move on just quite yet.

I'm still basking in the glow of our victory against the mighty Buffalo Bills!

Everyone is going to point toward Megatron tearing us a new one but, Im more worried about Fairly and Suh decapitating Ben out there. Really worried hes going to take a nasty hit in this one

As far as offensive weapons go I think I am more worried about Bush than I am about Megatron. Mainly because we have done pretty good at stopping AJ Green from killing us and he is Megatron lite. So we know we can handle a similar matchup pretty well.

I worry about Bush because our tackling has been hit or miss and he is elusive and our contain on guys out in the open has been off at times as well. He creates worse matchup problems out of the backfield too.

That said, our D has been our anchor all season (ignoring that Pats massacre) so I am mainly worried about the offense. Are we going to get the 31 point offense or the 2-4 turnover 10-18 point offense?

We could be a trap game for the Mighty Detroit Lions. We're a last place 3-6 team. They just won a huge division game to take over first place. Maybe they will take us lightly. (OH MY WORD…has it really come to this?)
