Good luck, LeBeau. Come out with something impressive big guy.
The only way to stop Megatron is if we can pressure Stafford consistently. With coverage, we'll need to put Allen on him with a safety always in the vicinity and maybe we'll be able to slow them down just enough.

Well we know that is not happening (pressuring Stafford), so we have to double him and stop Bush!

if we play 60 minutes and protect the ball we win. I'm not too concerned about them getting pressure on us. It's going to happen a little, but nothing like we saw against Minnesota or Chicago.

I haven't seen too much of the Lions this year, but from what I have seen they have proven to be able to score in a hurry.

As others have noted, besting Fairley and Suh will be a difficult task, too.

Perhaps the no-huddle would be the best tactic to employ to try and tire the duo?

Of course, if that works, it might lead to more opportunities for that high-powered Lions O.

I hate to say it, but those stupid bubble screens might actually be effective for keeping the ball/play away from the Lions DL.

Maybe maintain a steady diet of stretch plays, off tackles and draws, too. Attack the edges, avoid the middle.

Steelers O will never keep pace. Detroit should win.

They lost at home to the Bengals and should have lost to Dallas - they have weapons but this is not the 1989 49ers

DeCastro vs Suh should be a good battle. I am very concerned about Whimper vs Fairley however, that could be ugly. Bottom line is we will find out a lot about this team and our young playmakers in this upcoming game. Lets keep it going.

Man-to-man: DeCastro loses 99/100 times against Suh.

Moving laterally/pulling: DeCastro wins 99/100 times against Suh.

My biggest concern is Reggie Bush. Ray Rice has killed the Steelers for years. Bush is of the same ilk.

Reggie Bush scored the first TD of his NFL career against the Steelers.
