Default Teams Steelers Have A Losing Record Against

SMH...

Dallas Cowboys: The Cowboys currently lead the all-time series 16-15

Oakland Raiders: The Raiders lead the all-time regular season series since 1970, 12-9

Chicago Bears: 'Da Bears' lead the series 19-6-1...

I stopped looking after these 3... There could be more...

There are more. They also have losing all-time records against the Broncos, Packers, Jaguars, Vikings, Giants, Eagles, 49ers, Rams, and Redskins, in addition to the Raiders, Bears, and Cowboys.

Wins are a team statistic, not a quarterback statistic.

Winning big will not earn a team two wins, nor will winning ugly give a team only half a win.

When the Steelers and the Raiders ruled the 70's it was pretty even. I think it has been back and forth until recently. It's kind of baffling that we would take a three game lead over you considering how bad the Raiders have been the last decade. I guess "any given Sunday" holds true. I'm sure it will equal out in the next few years.

The Steelers were a horrible franchise for decades. It's not surprise they have a losing record to certain teams. It once again plays to the idea in fans heads about the importance of regular season games, especially against non-division teams that they don't play every year. It doesn't matter in the big picture. If you're getting to the playoffs and winning playoff games and Super Bowls, this stuff doesn't matter.

The Steelers post season record against teams is the only thing that really matters, and even that gets skewed as more and more time passes between meetings.

When you suck for the first 35 years of your team's existence, you're gonna have losing records against most teams.

Exactly. The Steelers made the playoffs 1 time before 1972. That was in 1947 against the Eagles when they lost 21-0 at home. I also think they had 2 or 3 non-losing seasons before 1970. They were a pretty bad franchise early on. Thus they have a losing record against many of their old NFL (now NFC) foes.

Ben can't win in Oakland. That record becomes 12-9 in our favor if they have to come beat us in our home.

The only team I'd call the Steelers 'kryponite' are the Jags and, recently, the Pats.

The Pats mostly the postseason, but the Jags since forever.

Those guys always give the Steelers fits and it's beyond aggravating. I hate those teal, wish they had fans, Arena league logo'd bastards.
