I'm really conflicted to say Ike was the goat. Yes he got beat with CJ, but he was given no help at all, and it was only during that one quarter. The rest of the game, I'd say he got the best (with help) of that matchup.

I agree with you there. I couldn't give Ike the goat. Especially considering Megatron didn't get one catch in the second half of a big game that was so close.

Gameball - Antonio Brown. No question about it. Not only did he make the catches but he was breaking tackles and adding a much needed spark to the team. I think it is also time that people start talking about him in the conversation when best WR in the NFL comes up. He doesn't have to come out on top in the convo but he deserves to be in. He is putting up Megatron and AJ Green numbers (better in some cases) without their height and jumping advantages.

Goat - I guess if I were giving it to anyone it would be the 2nd quarter secondary. That was just awful after out start to the game.

Well I'm glad they showed some grit and fought back beautifully in the 2nd half....earlier in the season they probably would have folded.....so that's hopefully some good growth out there that we just saw

However that 2nd qrt was pathetic and I think still shows we have a good ways to go before we're back to being legit contenders

AB is running some really good routes, getting open in space and making huge plays. But that one play when we were inside our 10 (in the 4th quarter), he went up in the air, it in the middle of the field and took two huge hits, held on for the first down. Wow, just wow. Brings toughness that Wallace never did or could bring.

as to your goat, without a chance to rewatch anything, I'm not going to be too harsh on the secondary. The difference between our pass rush in the first and second half was night and day.

Stafford had way too much time and was way to comfortable in that 2nd QTR

Good point but it isn't like they had to cover backyard football plays. Tron and them were just outright beating our guys and getting wide open. Looked like a lot of blown coverages.

My game balls go to No Huddle Ben Roethlisberger and Amazeballs Antonio Brown. They were both awesome today.

Honorable Mention to Heath Miller for reaching the milestone of 5,000 career reception yards.

No goats for me when the Steelers win.

Except for Haley. I hate him.

Gameballs for this entire team. The offense brought its A game, and I don't know what kind of adjustments were made at halftime, but they obviously worked to be able to shut out Calvin Johnson and the Detroit offense in the second half.

Goat: That imposter team that played for the Steelers in the second quarter.

Wins are a team statistic, not a quarterback statistic.

Winning big will not earn a team two wins, nor will winning ugly give a team only half a win.
