Holmes had off the field problems and Wallace wasn't worth the money so those 2 I have no qualms about. We have a history of not putting up with behavioral problems though I did like Holmes.

I don't remember with Plax and Washington. Was it just a money thing?

Washington wanted to start.

Plax was about money. It was Plax or Ward. I have no grievances about Plax wanting to get paid; I am merely stating the reason that he left.

Yes, Plaxico was a #2 receiver and wanted to be a #1.

Washington was a #3 and wanted to be a #1.

Both got their wishes and got big paychecks as well.

Don't forget Eric Green, Yancey, and Charles Johnson.

I think they're smart about it.

They've proven that WRs are an expendable asset.

So…..I guess I am fine with it overall. 3 SB appearances amidst releasing them and grooming new ones. Obviously don't need to overpay and keep them.

Although I really hope we keep Brown. This guy can seriously be one of if not thee best receiver in the NFL. He is having an amazing year.

Correction. He wasn't an elite receiver. He is having an elite year. He is outplaying just about every other receiver in the league.

He seems to be on his way up.

Not sure what you have been watching.

Hopefully Brown doesn't develop into a cancer. He's a smart and hardworking player. Hopefully we can keep him for a long time.
