I have family members with the gift of prophecy. I never really believed in that before I saw it first hand.

Here is more proof

I wouldn't exactly call it heavy drug use . I started on and off smoking the weed when I was 18. Now I usually smoke daily , The second I get off work . If I'm off I usually wake n bake and goto the gym cause working out is more fun when high !

The way I see it is that whether the chicken or the egg came first, SOMETHING had to have put either one there in the first place.

That said, I am a Deist.

I believe that some entity created something that led to the universe (or multiple universes) we have now, but I do not believe that there exists an invisible man in the clouds who watches over my daily life.

Interestingly, many of our Founding Fathers were Deists as well and most had little use for religion in general (and Christianity in particular), which of course tends to contradict the whole "Christian Nation" narrative that is so often attributed to them.

I'm probably what you would call an atheist agnostic. I'm open to the possibility of their being a creator, but have been given no reasonable evidence to suggest there is one.
I was raised Protestant xtian, probably closer to southern baptist xtian, but don't believe in the bible's veracity anymore than I do the tales of Homer.

Ito me the god question is a dead one, since no one I know of has been able to find an objective and honest way to test it's existence, it's simply an issue I don't care mic about, or feel is necessary to live a moral life. In fact, many of the articles of religions I'm knowledgeable of I object to on moral grounds.

That said, I think people have every right to indulge in their own subjective beliefs whether supporte by evidence or not, although I do have some objections... Namely I do not like people trying to legislate or have laws writ large based on subjective beliefs that come down to matters of faith. I also think teaching a young child that if they don't believe your beliefs, that they will be tortured for eternity is psychological terrorism and unacceptable.

I tend to need facts and physical proof of things as well. That is also why I did not have a strong faith growing up.

Before I developed a strong belief through people I know and actual experiences I rationalized the possibility a higher power through looking at it from the other side.

What are the chances of something as complex and amazing as the human body and mind randomly evolving from a single cell organism?
