I'm gonna say the Cincinnati Bengals because Ultimate Bengal predicted it and who can (or would want to) argue with a horse fucker?

Actually, my money's on Seattle.

The only reason Flacco got to the SB was because he had Boldin as his receiver and because of one of worst defensive plays ever made by a safety in the history of the NFL. If that doesn't happen, we would not even be talking about him right now. He is not elite, period!

I'd cry myself to sleep every night if I blew that gimme INT in the game of my life.

EXACTLY.

I was going to cite that, but didn't want to kill more internet trees.

If KC meets Denver again, what are the odds that they go o-fer vs. them???

Cold weather + solid D + 'chip on shoulder'

Sounds like a winning formula for the Chiefs. If they get Indy in round one (and it's looking that way), it might be a shoo-in.

The Seahawks.. against the Pats. Somehow, the Pats without Gronk make it to the SB with some NY Giant post season luck. But then Wilson and Sherman totally demolish the Pats. Brady and Belichik are seen cradling each other in the fetal position after the game is over.

Until Pittsburgh is eliminated, I still believe that they have as good of a shot as anyone. The AFC is weak, and the SuperBowl will be played in a blizzard (negating some of Seattle's advantages).

Speaking of Seattle... everyone is jumping on the Carolina bandwagon, and rightfully so. That defense is is great, and Cam can win in a hostile environment. Likewise, if I might add: Chicago.

Cutler is used to being booed... even by his own fans. Plus, they have a great running game, and two huge WRs (who can play in the snow). I would not be surprised, at all, if Chicago is the '05 Steelers/'07 NYGiants/'12 Ravens: the low-seeded, hot team, peaking & getting healthy at the right moment.

Da Bears!!!

So long as we're pointing out 'dark horses': why not Philly?

Foles is sporting something like an 8:1 TD/INT ratio. Kelly's praised for his schemes. The Reid Eagles were longtime a playoff contenders, have much of his corps, but ditched the choke-prone coach. Their D is better than Da Bears.

Of course, they're the Eagles, so they'll probably find some way to blow it, but...

We did it to Baltimore in 08 on our way to the SB.
I contend that Balt was very good that year, we were just clearly better. Much like the Chiefs and Broncos. The Broncos are the better team and have really not had much of a problem scoring on the Chiefs. Outscoring them 62-45 in 2 games. I'd be surprised if the Chiefs would beat them in a 3rd game, especially in Denver.

'08 Steelers were light years ahead of these Broncos in terms of being a complete team.

Chiefs are better defensively and Peyton loves to throw interceptions in the playoffs.
