Default Huge Numbers by the Offense

Looks like the offense is on the right track. The most eye popping number is Le'veon Bell's yards from scrimmage. He's only played in 12 games, coming off an injury which would stymie any player's flow and growth, but this kid came in and played hard. Also with that he had a concussion. He has a bright future!

Amen bro , we were just discussing this in The Bell thread. If we don't make playoffs , at least some players will eclipse records !

le'veon bell and heath miller were the guys we needed to get the offense to wake up. if they started in week 1, i believe we would have clinched a playoff spot already.

but then again injuries are part of the game, if my aunt had a dick she'd be my uncle

AB definitely proved he's an NFL-caliber #1 WR, and not just that, but superstar status.

People say this but I am just not sure. Our biggest issue was always the O line. Ben was getting killed and there was no competent run blocking. It is only once they started gelling that things really started clicking.

That isn't to say Bell and Heath aren't benefiting our team but I don't see there absence as a big problem compared to our line.

The Steelers Offense has scored 23, 37, 27, 20, 28, 23, and 31 points over the past seven games.

Todd Haley sucks.

Fire the bum. He's no good.

It may not mean a world of difference but I believe just 1 more gave gives us a much better shot at this improbable run.

I definitely believe we would win at least win one more game with heath n Bell Playin the first 4 games.

While that might be true, you also have to factor into the equation that with 2 dangerous weapons like miller and bell, the defense can't really tee off on ben every down. Nobody respected our running game because redman and dwyer aren't NFL caliber backs. Bell adds a running threat that defenses have to account for.

Though you are right, without a doubt the offensive line has gelled and has become an overall much better unit than the beginning of the season. Though I'm thinking at the very least with Bell/Heath we win at least one of those first 4 games. Especially the titans, they had no business winning against us.

I don't fully disagree but still a tough call IMO. I mean we have them and we are still losing games like the one to Miami in the snow. That should have been our other win to get us in as well.

So it is kind of 50/50

I don't think it was respected anymore with Bell until our line started blocking and he started getting more yards. His first 4 games we still lost to 2 teams we should have easily beat and only put up over 20 once in those 4.

Like I said to Steelestoned….It is hard to guess at. Even with him in we have lost to Vikings, Raiders and Dolphins. Not a single of those games should have even been close.

Not that I am trying to make this a big thing but I think it is an interesting discussion point. I think we really started getting it together with the Bills game. After that we had the 2 straight games with no sacks and stuff.
