Yeah that was a fumble. Then again it shouldn't have mattered if Succop could make a 40 yard FG in pristine conditions. Argh...if that dude costs the Chiefs a playoff win I'm gonna be pissed. My team hasn't won a playoff game since 1993. And I don't know if any of you all remember this, but in 1995 when the Chiefs were favored to get to the Super Bowl, our kicker Lin Elliott missed 3 short FGs and we lost 10-7. Then again in 1997 the Chiefs had homefield advantage throughout the playoffs and lost to the Broncos after a bogus offensive PI call against Tony Gonzalez. That was the game where the Broncos were caught putting grease on their uniforms lol. Then in 2003 the Chiefs had homefield advantage and a bye only to lose to...the Colts. Then in 2007 the Chiefs lost a wild card game to...the Colts. Then in 2010 we won the AFC West and lost to Baltimore. So needless to say, I'd love to see a playoff win. Just one, and then let the chips fall where they may. Good luck to you all going forward.

I didn't see a good replay of this, but was that Illegal Contact or whatever call it was on the final drive not really Pass Interference? Would've made a big difference in where they got the new set of downs from.

That was the infamous Harbaugh Colts game (hail mary), right?

The Steelers nearly fell victim to the same play the next week at TRS.

Chiefs (fans) deserve at least one playoff W.

I know Harbaugh was the QB of the Colts at the time, but I don't recall a hail mary. I just remember Elliott missing his 3rd FG at the end to lose.

I said the same thing to my wife (who's a Chargers fan).

It would have been at the 12... as opposed to just 5 yards (up to the 25).

I was yelling at that play too. Nothing broke our way this season.

They just got off to a really awful start. That pretty much killed your season. I'm actually amazed Pittsburgh had a shot in week 17 to get in...and really should have gotten in if not for the bullshit in SD today.

Also, if you all think you've seen some BS from the officials this year, just wait. I guarantee you the Chiefs are gonna have to beat the Colts AND the officials next weekend. I just know the league is pining for a Luck vs. Manning, Colts vs. Broncos grudge match.

that gif isn't really even a good angle. On the angle behind the play, you see him stopped for a moment short of the first down. If the play was going to be blown dead it would have been then, fucking short. Then one of his lineman pushes him forward, which is when the ball is stripped as he crosses the 30 yard line for the first down.
