A kick to Goodell's shin, a kick to Goodell's arse...

...either way: they pissed him off (for not mindlessly complying).

I'm starting to think Vince McMahon is running the NFL anymore. What a mess.

yup. The main deal wasn't the cap as much as it was given the Commissioner so much influence on rule changes and enforcement.

He's trying to bring down the NFL so he can resurrect the XFL!

Remember how people actually thought the XFL was going to challenge the NFL for viewership?

By the end of the first season it was so bad they couldn't even get decent commercial advertising.

The head official in this game was none other than Bill Leavy-- the same ref from SB XL, who has been on a Shehawks guilt-trip ever since that game.

He expressed regrets about some calls in that game, but Mike Piera reviewed and confirmed all the calls from SB XL as valid (as I am sure you are all aware).

It appears the Bill Leavy tried to exorcise his demons by screwng us over finally.

Whether it there were bad calls or not, I came into today expecting that the Steelers don't make the playoffs but I still enjoyed the game. The Steelers should not be in the playoffs because they don't deserve it. Obviously I would like to have been, but I tried not to think about it.

Maybe but Succop still missed the kick.
