Default Ben- never a losing season

The Steelers have salvaged 2-6 starts in 06 and 13 to finish 8-8 both times. All 8 of the other years they've had winning seasons. Not sure how many QB's have started their first year in the league and had 10 straight .500 or better years.
I know Brady didn't start his first season and then missed a whole season with the knee injury. Manning had a losing season or 2 at the beginning of his career. Montana was a backup for a couple years then had a 6-10 record his first season starting.
Flacco's over halfway there, so I'm sure it's been done before.

Looking for 10+ winning seasons to start a career. Throw em out if you know any.

there are two that jump to my mind, just because they were on teams that consistently won. Without checking on it I would say Marino and Favre could be somewhere close to 10 straight non-losing seasons. But I don't think there's one that has 10 straight winning seasons.

no, the Dolphins were 6-10 in Marino's 6th season, and Favre was a back-up his first year. But the Packers didn't have a losing season with him as QB until 2005.

Ben had a losing season every year except twice in my eyes. I don't think finishing at .500 means anything good. Especially if you don't even make the playoffs.

Yes, very good point. In the eyes of a troll, Ben has only had two winning seasons.

How in the heck did Marino get in the HOF, Man never had a winning season.

Last year was 8-8, too. So that is three, 8-8 seasons. I would say last year's 8-8 was a POOR 8-8, considering they were 6-3 before Ben got hurt. Pittsburgh finished 2-5.... Whereas in 2013, it was the opposite: a poor start was salvaged with finishing 6-2. To me this was a good 8-8 compared to 2012's 8-8. But, it should've been better this year...

Well because if fantasy was a thing back in the day Marino would rock. Everyone now loves fantasy stats. Decker will probably be a shoe in
