If we go defense in round 1 I really really want Dennard, if offense I want one of three wrs Evans,Watkins,or Benjamin. I also wouldn't mind Ebron

Smallwood would make a great Buck LB ... my question is why isn't Vince good enough for a Buck? ... cause he's a 2 down LB?... who cares teams need to get as many Safety / DBs on the field as most as possible in most cases

I think as of right now it's DB or Defensive Line for me... (Dennard , Gilbert , Ifo or Nix , Tuitt , Hagemen) ... as much as I'd love Benjamin I just think our Offense is decent enough and only getting better

great post. We'll also possibly have Spence in there this year as well.

A lot still depends on what we do in FA, but I'd like to see us draft in this order:

NT
FS
CB

sprinkle a WR and/or a TE somewhere in there.

I'm glad this thread is generating such great conversation.

I agree with everyone in here, honestly. I put up guys who I think are true difference making, franchise type players in the first round for us this year, with the only exception being Mike Evans. I want us to distance ourselves as far away as we can from Mike.

That being said, Mosley, Barr (dear god if we get Anthony Barr), Dix, Gilbert or Dennard will be our first round pick this year. I'd bet the farm on it.

I'm not a big college football guy so I can't break the draft down the way you guys do. Can you post a similar list that would reflect a BPA type draft rather than need-based?

Maybe it's the same, but I'd like to see how they would compare.

What the hell else do we have to talk about?! ;-)

Absolutely, I'll get working on it tonight. It gives me another thing to procrastinate with.

@SteeleReign Ask and you shall receive.

Top Prospects of the 2014 Available at 15th Overall

1a. Anthony Barr, Outside Linebacker, UCLA

[see first post]

1b. Khalil Mack, Outside Linebacker, University of Buffalo

Strong. Physical. Excellent hands. Quick. All of these things are not only accurately describing Khalil Mack, but maybe devaluing on the level he plays game in and game out. If left in one on one situations, he's getting to the Quarterback - it's a foregone conclusion. His burst and first step at the line is matched only by Anthony Barr in this draft class. He's arguably better at the snap than Clowney is at shedding blocks. He already has an excellent array of pass rushing moves and the ability to bend and use a Tackle's size against him.

Mack is my current DROY candidate, depending on which team he goes to.

2. C.J. Mosley, Inside Linebacker, Alabama.

[see first slide]

3. Greg Robinson, Offensive Tackle, Auburn

An athletic Tackle that dominates with his size and exceptional kick slide and first step. He's able to use his frame and natural length to keep even the best pass rushers at bay. He was a big reason as to why Auburn had the success it did in not only the passing game, but the running game as well. He always seems to keep a clean pocket on the blind side, he uses his feet and NFL ready pad level to be a force in the run game. His hand placement needs work, but he's a 6'5 305 lbs. Tackle who ran a 4.9 40 time. He's just an athletic freak with a higher ceiling than Jake Matthews.

4. Ha'Sean Clinton-Dix, Free Safety, Alabama.

[see first slide]
