Do you ever say anything worth reading, ever? Not only was this insanely ignorant (they never once said he'd be ready to go from day 1) but it's just the usual bullshit we've come accustomed to from you. We get it, you don't like our Linebackers. The horse has been beaten to death, then had the instrument give the horse a rectal exam.

Move on, big guy.
Von Miller? He tore it up his rookie season. He was very dominant with 11.5 sacks as a rookie. Smith had 14 his rookie year.
im not comparing him to them because they were more nfl ready coming out. I expext Jones to follow all our great line backers and take a year or 2 to get up to speed

The biggest reason the defense is going backwards is our entire line backing crew is average at best. When was the last time you could say that about the steelers. We've always had atleast one top guy we don't have any now. This defense is designed for linebackers jones will never be worth the pick take it to the bank.
To be honest when you look at game tape, in Jones' case so far, mostly Georgia film, all you see is play making ability. Take a look, you tube it. The sacks didn't come his way this year, I agree with that, but they will. I witnessed plays this year you just don't see very often. Sideline to sideline explosion. You were blind if you didn't see it. Maybe you watch the ball, alot of fans do. I usually pick out a certain player at the snap, no matter where the ball is. I watch football, any sport that way at any level, pro or amateur.

What I really liked about JJ this year was his durability. He played alot more than what I thinkthe coaching staff had planed on. He held up. There's an adjustment period for first year guys, a large majority of them.

I agree: periods suck.

And, commas are nothing but trouble.

According to PFF only one olb had a worse pass rush productivity score than everyone's prized 1 st round pick , Jarvis jones.

Starting Steelers LB's under LeBeau/Capers
Jerrol Williams (4th rounder)
Hardy Nickerson (5th rounder)
David Little (7th rounder)
Greg Lloyd (6th rounder)
Kevin Greene (5th rounder)
Levon Kirkland (2nd rounder)
Chad Brown (2nd rounder)
Jason Gildon (3rd rounder)
Jerry Olsavsky (10th rounder)
Clark Haggans (5th rounder)
James Farrior (1st rounder)
Larry Foote (4th rounder)
Joey Porter (3rd rounder)
James Harrison (UFA)
LaMarr Woodley (2nd rounder)
Lawrence Timmons (1st rounder)
Jarvis Jones (1st rounder)
Jason Worilds (2nd rounder)

This isn't to diminish these guys' accomplishments at all. But it would appear that the 3-4 scheme that LeBeau runs seems to be able to, for whatever reason, make stars of just about anybody. All of the guys I listed had Steelers careers that most would consider at least "good." Some of them, great.
Alonzo Jac.....

lol. Sorry couldn't resist.
Nice list.
