Exactly. There was no way this offense was not going to struggle under those conditions. We literally had no tight ends (David Paulson barely counts as one in my mind) and a left tackle who spent more time chasing after his blocking assignments than hitting them.

Ben said this is the first off season he goes into completely healthy and he doesn't have to ice body parts down at the end of the game.

When velasco went down. They ran the no huddle with his replacement cody wallace. anyways. Velasco played just as good if not better than pouncey. Pouncey going down had nothing to do with our offensive failures. Bens interceptions and fumbles is what made us look like shit. Maybe the absence of heath and a rookie runningback as well.

I'm guessing out offense will start off disappointingly slow again next season as well and cost us games that we really didnt need to lose.
