SB Nation has a really nice Olympic Medal Tracker.

@SteelCityMom, I agree that we have some catching up to do. Our athletes better get crackin'.

Good game so far, though I think Canada definitely has the upper hand at this point.

I forget all the rules for women's hockey and Olympic hockey, but is it just women's hockey that checking is a penalty, or is it in all Olympic hockey? I want to say it's just women's, but I can't remember. You know those girls can handle it though, I wish they'd allow them to check each other.

**Edit** Nevermind, the announcers just answered my question. Men's hockey, checking is fine, women's it's not. They were just discussing the issue of deciding body checking and body contact in women's and how it's become sort of muddled. I think they should just let them hit each other and call it a day.

It's pretty even after 40. The US goal was a nice tip and seemed to spark the Amercians. It's pretty obvious this is the gold medal preview.

I completely get the no hitting rule in women's hockey, but it's still a little weird to watch.

Yeah, barring a complete meltdown from either team, it should be them in the gold medal game.

That whistle blew, I heard it clearly.

Oh well... they just gotta calm down and get this one back.

Nice no call on the 8 seconds Canada had too many (wo)men on the ice. I'm going to be throwing shit by the gold medal game.

*Note* And not throwing shit in the way Canadian women throw shit.

The go-ahead goal had to be demoralizing. That was one of the worst I've seen.

The officiating has been pretty bad for both sides, but if we're calling a spade a spade, I didn't even catch the too many (wo)men.

Breakaway goal might have just sealed it for Canada.

Yeah, that was a pretty sweet goal. It was a good game, US just couldn't recover after that 2nd goal. It'll be fun to see them go at it again for the medal.
