Munchak would be a great hiring. As @tony hipchest adding another veteran coach would be great for guys like DeCastro and Pouncey.

If he has his choice, I think Munchak would pick the Steelers over the Texans. You can argue there's more young talent on the offensive line, and more stability in the front office and organization.

Wow, Munchak from Head Coach to position coach! Mike Tice thinks that is a step back.

i think it would help tomlin out a great deal as well. kinda like i feel mike zimmer is gonna have some pressure alleviated as a 1st time HC with Norv turner running the offense.

Until Ian Rapaport reports about it, it's all hearsay.

I would definitely be happy if we landed Munchak as OL coach.

Well carolina made it to the three to one yard line three times against san fran last week and that oline couldn't get a push or a hole good enough to punch the ball in on almost ten attempts with tolbert and williams carrying the ball.

This guy sounds like more of the same. I still can't make sense of veering rid of Kulig. Pittsburgh is infamous for giving coaches a chance but can't seem to carry that philosophy over to the offensive line coaches. Especially after having a great season (considering injuries and players learning a new blocking scheme) with coach K. I thought he deserved at least another chance with these young men we have protecting Ben.

Well coaches coach and players play. And fans act like they can do better than both. I'll just have to trust Mike and the front office on this move.
